Shipping & Kits

How to submit your sample.

Two ways to get your sample to the lab. Kit with a prepaid label, or self-ship directly. Both work.

CheckPeptide testing kit — branded box, sample vial, and prepaid FedEx label
Option 1

Order a Kit

The easiest way. We ship you a kit with everything you need: collection vials, a sample form, and a prepaid return label. Collect your sample, seal, drop in a post box.

Pre-labelled return envelope
Collection vials included
Instructions included
Prepaid return shipping (US only)

Kit ships within 1–2 business days of your order. Turnaround starts from when the lab receives your sample.

Option 2

Self-Ship

CheckPeptide sample submission form with vials and COA ID card

Ship directly to the lab using your own packaging. Cheaper on shipping costs if you already have what you need. Best for vendors and repeat submitters.

No kit required
Ship with any carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
Lab address provided at checkout
Write order ID on the outside of your package

Vendors: email labs@checkpeptide.com to arrange direct submission without a checkout order.

Packaging requirements

How to package your sample.

Proper packaging protects the integrity of your sample and prevents delays at the lab.

Vials & lyophilised powder

Wrap each vial in bubble wrap or foam padding. Place in a rigid outer container — a small cardboard box works well. Do not ship loose in a padded envelope.

Keep refrigerated until shipping. Ship with an ice pack if possible for multi-day transit.

Label requirements

Write your CheckPeptide order ID on the outside of the package and on a slip inside. If you're submitting multiple samples, label each vial separately with the compound name and your order ID.

Quantities

Send only what's needed. Most panels require 0.5–2mg of compound. Sending more doesn't improve results and adds cost. Kit customers: follow the quantities specified in your kit instructions.

After you ship

What happens next.

1

Lab receives your sample

Ethos Analytics logs your sample on arrival. You'll receive a confirmation email when the lab accepts your submission. Turnaround starts from this point.

2

Testing begins

Your sample is processed according to the panel you ordered. Results are reviewed by laboratory staff before being issued. No automated results — every COA is signed off by the lab.

3

COA delivered

Your Certificate of Analysis is emailed with your permanent COA ID. The result is simultaneously published to the public lookup database at checkpeptide.com/verify.

Questions

Shipping FAQs

Currently we accept samples shipped from within the United States only. International shipping involves customs declarations that can compromise sample integrity and create legal complications. We're working on a solution for international customers.
No. Testing is destructive — the sample is consumed in the analysis. Ship only what you're comfortable not having returned.
If your kit return package is lost, contact us at labs@checkpeptide.com with your order ID and tracking number. We'll work with you on a resolution. For self-ship customers, we recommend using a tracked service with insurance.
Yes. Label each vial clearly with the compound name and your order ID. Include a written list of all samples in the package. Order each panel separately at checkout so you have a separate order ID for each.
